Where do
donations go?
Donations go towards the
current project
which you can read about on the
current project
page. This supplies clean sanitation to
communities in Ghana.
How much should I
donate?
We recommend donating at least 1%
of personal income to charity in general. The average amount donated per person per year is typically
around 1% (Charities Aid Foundation). We recommend using a percentage because this is
proportional to income
and bears in mind what you can afford.
£10/month could supply water for 10 people for a
month. (Around 2p/day/person). Donating by standing order allows
you to give each month and effectively continually provide water
for as many people as pounds you put in.
Naturally, we recommend aiming to support as many people as
possible. You can give on a monthly basis using a standing order
form which is located below. Or you could visit our website each
month and donate by card or cheque or you could donate yearly by
card or cheque.
You might also decide to give a one off gift of £10, £50, £100,
£500 or even £1000+. Or, if not, then you might decide to spend
a £1 to buy someone clean water and sanitation for a month.
